Bermuda experienced two hurricanes in one week during October of 2014. According to Brad Kading, President & Executive Director of ABIR (Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers), it was an “exercise in resilience.”  As an island country, there is little others can do to assist.  He reports of a great “community spirit” that helped with the clean-up. Building codes are quite strong, controlling the damages to property.
